This is one of my passion projects, heavily inspired by the world of 'Blame!' by Tsutomu Nihei. I tried to animate the logo of Toha Heavy Industries, a fictional manufacturer from the City, the setting where the manga took place. The logo original design is the work of the author.
Since this manga is one of the best cyberpunk media and began publishing in 1997, I was inspired by the retro production logo and took that approach to the design. Plus, the glitchiness adds the 'cyberpunk' feel to it.

This work includes a small redesign of the logo and the letters in Illustrator, the application of grids to make them proportional, and the animation of them in AfterEffect.
